I downloaded the zip of the update but don't know how to go on from there. I've tried looking it up but my results don't match what I need help with and alot of the commands and stuff in what ive tried I don't understand.

Well, nobody would expect you to download a zip and automatically know what to do with it.

You were supposed to download the newer installer, or if you use the portable version, to replace your exe with the newer one
