Preflight Checklist

I use the latest version of YouTube Music (Application).
I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.
I understand that th-ch/youtube-music has NO affiliation with Google or YouTube

I can reproduce this issue in the official version of (WEB) YTM.

Reproduction steps

Start youtube-music from its desktop entry while using Wayland

Expected Behavior

It should start in Wayland mode - i.e. with --ozone-platform=wayland

Actual Behavior

It starts in X11 mode.

Enabled plugins

Irrelevant

Additional Information

On Fedora 41 running swayfx (a fork of sway).
Installed via the RPM.
youtube-music --ozone-platform=wayland works as expected.
