I can report the same as happening here:

Apple M2 Max - MacOS Sequoia Version 15.5 (24F74)
Latest install version v3.9.0 Latest

Typically, this can be resolved in Security Settings; however, this doesn't seem to be the case here.

From the homepage/docs:

macOS

You can install the app using Homebrew (see the cask definition):

brew install th-ch/youtube-music/youtube-music

If you install the app manually and get an error "is damaged and can’t be opened." when launching the app, run the following in the Terminal:

/usr/bin/xattr -cr /Applications/YouTube\ Music.app

Can be marked as closed. Works without issue when installed correctly!
