Checklists
What operating system are you using?
Windows
Operating System Version
Windows 11 Home Insider Preview
What CPU architecture are you using?
x64
Last Known Working YouTube Music (Application) version
3.9.0
Reproduction steps
N/A, Self explanatory
Expected Behavior
After enabling the Discord Rich Presence plugin, if it doesn't connect on its own, you would normally click "Disconnected", in which it would normally change to "Connected", indicating the application is connected to Discord and should be showing the rich presence.
Actual Behavior
Clicking "Disconnected" for me right now doesn't change it at all and there is no rich presence on Discord.

Jumping in to add my info as well -- I'm running into the same issue
App Version: 3.9.0
OS: Windows 11 Pro
CPU Architecture: x64 (Intel)
Enabled Plugins:
I have found a fix for this issue, at least for me.
This app doesn't connect to Discord in the same way that Spotify (or even YouTube) does, and it acts more like a game or activity. With that being said, you have to enable Discord's "User Settings -> Activity Privacy -> Share your detected activities with others".
This immediately made it work, but also enabled everything else to be visible as an activity, so if you don't like your activities other than music on your profile, disable visibility in "User Settings -> Registered Games"
(I apologize if this isn't the right area or method of responding to an issue, I have literally never commented on GitHub before)
KuePasta, this worked for me. Thanks for this solution.
Also have this issue, The above solutions may fix some version of this, but I have activity privacy set to shared, and other 3rd party connections work with Discord Rich Presence.
Youtube Music has not worked for the last couple months. Posting this because I just updated hoping it would be fixed, but no dice.
