Last Known Working YouTube Music (Application) version
2.0.7
Reproduction steps
Issue 1: Infinite Loading Screen
1.Launcch the application normally in version 2.0.7.
2.Upon checking for updates, it proceeds to download and install version 2.0.8.
3.After the update, the launcher gets stuck on the "Loaded YouTube Music" screen.
A red message appears stating: “YouTube Music is taking longer than usual to load,” and it does not progress beyond this point.
Issue 2: Unprompted Track Skipping
Occasionally, while the app is running in the background, music playback abruptly stops and skips to the next track.
This occurs without any user interaction, such as pressing keyboard shortcuts or using the interface.
Expected Behavior
The app should proceed to enter home screen after the update, instead got this screen.
Actual Behavior
Stuck in this screen indefinitely with the animation running.
Enabled plugins
Other than Discord rich presence nothing is enabled.
Additional Information
I have attempted to reinstall the application using both version 2.0.7 and the latest installer, version 2.0.8, but neither approach has resolved the issue.
I also came across a prior report suggesting that the problem might stem from both versions running simultaneously. Following that lead, I tried terminating one instance via Task Manager, but unfortunately, this did not lead to any improvement.
wrong repository, the YTM app from your print is this one
