I use the latest version of YouTube Music (Application).
I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.
I understand that th-ch/youtube-music has NO affiliation with Google or YouTube

I use the portable version of the YouTube Music Application.
I can reproduce this issue in the official version of (WEB) YTM.

What operating system are you using?

Windows

Operating System Version

Windows 11 Version 24H2 OS Build 26100.3194

What CPU architecture are you using?

x64

Last Known Working YouTube Music (Application) version

Reproduction steps

Enable In-App Menu Plugin.
Scroll through Liked Songs mine have 1000+ songs.
App starts to lag when scrolling

Expected Behavior

App should behave normally with no lag just like in the browser

Actual Behavior

When scrolling app starts lagging (It kind of freezes when using the scrollbar to scroll)

Enabled plugins

In-App Menu

Additional Information

If the In-App Menu plugins is disabled it works perfectly

It was seemingly fixed with 3.7.0 and - for me - was not happening till i upgraded from 3.7.3 to 3.7.4. For the Time being, if it bothers you and you dont need the features added by 3.7.4, maybe consider falling back to 3.7.3 till this is fixed again

EDIT: seems like this isnt an issue exclusively bound to "inappmenu" as i have it disabled and things are still extremely laggy at times, and not just the playlist but the entire UI, including player and such. As such what i am experiencing could very well be a separate Issue alltogtether

This issue has been reported several times before. I can confirm on my side it is happening again, although I am not sure if I can say this exclusively happens with InAppMenu enabled as since i upgraded to 3.7.4, there was a few hickups in similar ways even with the Plugin Disabled. It was seemingly fixed with 3.7.0 and - for me - was not happening till i upgraded from 3.7.3 to 3.7.4. 3.7.5 fixed my issue. will test later with re-enabled in-app-menu. might be worth a test for you as well @taqi42

Same issue here. Scrolling down to the bottom of a large playlist makes the entire thing lag like crazy.

Disable In-App Menu plugin, no lag for me after disabling it.
