Preflight Checklist

I use the latest version of YouTube Music (Application).
I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.

Problem Description

Pretty simple: when using bluetooth headphones, the video is sometimes delayed quite a bit based on what headset you use.

Proposed Solution

I would like some plugin where I can select a delay to add to the video so it's in sync with the audio played on my headset and it to remember what device has which delay.

Alternatives Considered

I have a lot of experience programming but have never done anything for an open source project, but I would love to contribute to this project. If someone can point me in the right direct, I could have a look for it myself! Maybe someone knows a package for this?
